Thanks to the Alexanders
By Richard | April 1, 2007
I attended the SMART (Southern Maryland Autism Resource Team) meeting yesterday with speakers Missy Alexander and her daughter Shelby. We were all very fortunate to meet such a lovely young lady who described to us her life with autism. As parents of children on the spectrum are all very familiar with toddlers and young children with autism but it was very enlightening for us to get to meet a teen who deals with it.
Thanks again, Missy and Shelby!
P.S. A huge thanks also to the Baggarlys for hosting!
