Stride 4 Autism Walk From Sparks to Washington D.C.
Beginning on June 9th, 2007, Gary Kuhre will walk alone from Sparks, Nevada to Washington D.C. The walking trip will take him over 2,800 mile in an effort to raise awareness of Autism and point out injustices perpetuated disabled children.
Kuhre is seeking new National legislation written that will require insurance companies to cover care and treatment of Autistic children up to the age of 18.
He will use only a push jogger with carrier during the trip. It was donated by Berg Design (www.bergdesign.net) to carry all personal materials. Foot Solutions of Reno Nevada is also donating my footwear for the trip.
