Hi Jenny,
I completely believe in the vaccines being a cause of both autism and even to a lesser extent, but still troublesome, problems such as behavioural issues. My son is 9 1/2 and he changed when he was 2 also but not diagnosed with autism. He is extremely difficult, he is violent, disrespectful and tells me he can’t help his tantrums, that something over takes him. He too never played with toys, he destroyed them, took them apart, I thought he was going to put them back together….. He never says he loves me, nor greets me at the door, doesn’t show affection. I have always and will always hug him but he doesn’t like it. And it’s more than a boy thing, affection is lost on him. Right now they have him on Prozac thinking that he is depressed. It releives his anxiety but he is still lost socially. HE was 2 weeks premature and possibly the vaccines schedule should have been changed for him to reflect that. I had his hair analyzed, and his poop too when he was younger. I took him off wheat and gluton and dairy for months but never noticed the difference you did (which is fantastic for Evan by the way).
Well I have taken enough of your time, the Oprah show was great and I hope Mom’s and Dad’s think twice about vaccination schedules and go with their guts. I too had a doctor that told me the vaccines are not cause for worry but it never felt right and still doesn’t to this day.
Good luck and God bless you and Evan.

Hello,
My name is Ursula Marshall and I too have a son with Autism. We live in Australia and I have only just seen you both on Oprah (aired in South Australia Monday 22nd Oct). Unfortunately, I missed the show due to working, but managed to see the last 5 minutes and wanted desperately to find out the name of Holly’s book. There is not alot of information for us over here, and people with autistic children are very few and far between where we live (country area). My marriage did break up as my Husband blamed me for having our son diagnosed. Cameron is now 7 years old, and it is very difficult as a single parent, so I am absolutely certain that reading your book is going to be a godsend. I would really like to find out how I could purchase this book, as I am unable to find it in Australia yet.
God bless
Ursula Marshall
