Our baby is going to kindergarten

This week our oldest daughter will be starting kindergarten. Forgive the proud parents if they seem a little overwhelmed but this is a moment that we weren’t sure would ever come. Our little girl has autism but has worked through her roadblocks to make stunning progress over the past few years. We couldn’t be prouder if she was graduating college this week.
She has worked very hard to get to this point and we have many to thank for her wonderful development but we cannot offer thanks enough to the excellent and caring staff of the
We are not so naive to believe that there is not a tough road ahead but we know that these wonderful folks have provided her with the groundwork she’ll need to become the best person she can be. We won’t name individuals for fear of leaving someone out but rest assured that our gratitude to the educators and staff at the
We hold the sincerest hope that the Board of Education and the county as a whole realizes what dedicated and talented people we have supporting our children.
